Outspoken with Bespoke
I am highly selective when it comes to men’s accessories. When purchasing pieces to add-on to my outfits, I have a specific criteria that must be checked. For instance, I tend to gravitate to timeless items that are rugged, yet sleek or pieces that have a modern, vintage feel. In particular, when choosing a bag, I love pieces that incorporate various fabrics and rugged hardware to a classic silhouette. These details create durable items for my hectic and adventurous lifestyle. Thanks to the kind people at Bespoke Post, I finally own the duffle bag I never knew I needed.

Bespoke Post is a monthly themed subscription box loaded with unique, high-quality products for the young gentleman. Unlike other subscription box companies, Bespoke lets their customer choose and customize their box. However, a monthly subscription is not necessary to purchase their curated range of apparel, home goods and other novelty items. For my #boxofawesome, I selected the gray Line of Trade Weekender Duffle. A customer favourite, the Weekender is a essential in every guy’s closet. Originally crafted for weekend getaways, the bag is the perfect size for running around the city. It’s durable metal framework and thick canvas adds character to a polished outfit for work and compliments a casual, athletic style afterwards. The Weekender’s vintage details are further enhanced with a thick shoulder strap, silver buckles and leather accents.
My Weekender was perfect for running errands in Downtown Toronto. This weekend, I opted for an off-duty style that emphasized layers and incorporated fun prints, while still looking sharp. I was impressed how the bag’s gray fabric complemented the checks of my coat. Usually accessories are drowned out by the busy checks, but the Weekender remained the statement of my look. To further enhance the rugged appearance of the bag, I layered a waffled long-sleeve crewneck under a heather gray tee for extra warmth. Lastly, I wore a faded denim shirt and some fun sneakers to dress down the refined look of my navy chinos. Overall, the Weekender completed the look and remained the focus of my outfit.
